East Detroit's Food Service Department uses Meal Magic as its cafeteria computer system. This system allows you to do many things related to our breakfast and lunch programs such as deposit money, look at your child's account and fill out your child's application for free and reduced meals.

• Your child has been given an "account" into which you may deposit money at any time. This Pre-Pay system helps us speed up the line of service for the lunch program. Your child may use this for breakfast or lunch or ala carte items if you choose.
  
• Additionally, you also have access to www.SendMoneyToSchool.com. You will be able to deposit money into your child's account with your credit card at any given time and your child's account will be updated within minutes.
  
  To begin, go to www.SendMoneyToSchool.com. From there, click the "sign-up" link and follow the steps to set-up your account. (Click here for Step By Step Instructions.) Once you submit your account information you will be e-mailed a password.
  
• As an added benefit you will also be able to fill out your application for Free and Reduced Meal benefits on-line using www.LunchApp.com. When using this site you will no longer need to send in the paper application. You can use this site all year long if your income changes and you feel that you qualify for free or reduced meals.
