MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT -- DR. RYAN MCLEOD

Dear East Detroit Public Schools Students, Staff, Parents, and Community:

I am honored to be your new Superintendent of Schools and am very excited to be a part of the East Detroit Public Schools family. In my first weeks on the job, I have learned a great deal about the school district, the community, and various partnerships and programs that have been developed through the hard work our dedicated staff. I have also learned about the challenges that East Detroit Public Schools has faced in recent years. I am optimistic and excited about leading the district forward as we face the challenges head-on and collaboratively build upon the current and historical successes of East Detroit Public Schools.
