Eisenhower’s 3 R’s
Last year’s new behavior system was a complete success acquainting students with “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Ready”. The students’ response to this new system was positive and we had some great results. We will once again be continuing on with the “3R’s this school year while adding some new components such as our new IKE Work Center which will run during recess (students will complete unfinished work), and the after school detention center, which will run every Thursday. Other areas that we will touch upon again delivering our behavioral expectations include assemblies, bathroom, hallways, bus, and office, just to name a few.
We’re going to kick it off the year with our stations, as classes will venture through the building to hear explanations of expectation and procedures in the various areas. During Meet the Teacher Night, you will receive additional information from your child’s teacher. To go along with our home-school partnership, try quizzing your child about IKE’s 3 R’s and creating your very own 3 R’s at home. Together- We can make a difference.
