Mission Statement
It is the
mission of South Lake High School to produce citizens who can think clearly and
communicate effectively, gather and use information, and make responsible decisions.
Through academic and extra-curricular activities, SLHS works together with parents and the
community to meet the intellectual, social, emotional, recreational, and career awareness
needs of the students.

Progress Report on National Goals:
The staff reviews the national goals for education and uses the school improvement process to address them.
Goals 2000:
South Lake High School utilizes Goals 2000 as a framework for focus and change. The goals provide staff the compass with which we chart our school improvement efforts. We offer here brief progress statements on selected and relevant goals impacting the high school.
