GlazesMy own clay work is fired between cones 6-8 with a controlled slow cooling. In my elementary art clasroom we work with a majolica glaze applied over a terra cotta clay body and fired to cone 1.
|This page contains the results of firing Duncan commerical glazes three different ways. I fired them to cone 06 over a lowfire white clay and a terra cotta clay. Then I fired them to cone 1 over a Majolica base glaze on terra cotta clay.|
