Iron Red Glazes

There are three iron red glazes I use the most. The first one is a red I discovered by running a Currie grid of a glaze from Pete Pinnell's iron red article in Clay Times. The second and third are variations of that glaze based on a series of line blends I did exploring different iron oxides and additions. I have a bunch of tips for firing iron red glazes here. All of these were fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln with a controlled cool down.
