To
meet minimum graduation requirements in the Utica Community
Schools, a total of 22 credits must be earned in grades 9-12.
One-half credit is granted for each semester course.
Specific
subject requirements which must be successfully completed
are:

Three
(3) credits of social studies, grades 9-12. One-half (1/2)
credit of United States History (11th or 12th grades,
AP U.S. History or Contempary U.S. History). One-half
(1/2) credit of American Government (12th Grade).

Three
(3) credits of mathematics.

Three
(3) credits of science.

One-half
(1/2) credit of health.

Two
(2) credits in foreign language or CTE (Career and Technical
Education) or Fine / Performing Arts OR any combination
therof.
Each
student in the Utica Community Schools is expected to successfully
achieve a full high school program each year.
It is the responsibility of students to meet with school staff
to insure course work meets the basic requirements of the
college and/or career of their choice. |
