American Legion Scholarships ~ A variety of scholarships and awards are available to graduating seniors in Michigan. Visit http://michiganlegion.org/scholarships. National scholarships are also available online at www.legion.org.
Oakland University Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Scholarship Program ~ Award Amount: $4,800 per year for up to four years. For students who are interested in studying Industrial and Systems Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. A total of 32 scholarships will be awarded. Apply online at Oakland.edu/apply. (Ending Soon) KFC Colonel’s Scholars~ Award amounts up to $20,000 for tuition, textbooks, fees or room and board. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75, enroll in a public college or university within Michigan, plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate need. Apply online at www.kfcscholars.org. The criteria of selection are academic achievement, school/community service, and extracurricular activities. (New Listing) Lawrence Technological University ~ You could will a $1000 renewable scholarship to LTU! Open to all juniors and seniors interested in attending LTU. To apply you must complete the scholarship application online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/MIscholarship. Seniors must also apply to LTU at www.edu/futurestudents/apply.asp. Write a 1,200 word response to the following topic “Are there fundamental shifts in ideals in business, industry, and society that need to take place to enable a sustainable future, or can goals for a sustainable environment be effectively implemented within traditional ideologies?” and email your essay to scholarship@ltu.edu before February 10, 2012. Scholarship competition is February 25, 2012 at Lawrence Tech University.
National Co-op Scholarship Program - Students are encouraged to apply for the ninth annual National Co-op scholarship. To qualify, students must: have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or better and complete all the required admissions applications materials and be accepted for the 2012-2013 academic year at one of the WACE Partner Institutions (Drexel university, Johnson & Wales University, Kettering University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Cincinnati, University of Toledo) To apply, complete an on-line application at www.co-op.edu. University of Dayton Leadership in Service Scholarship ~ Award Amount: $2,500 per year for up to four years. Please see Mrs. Dunn in the counseling office if you are interested in receiving more information about this scholarship opportunity. Deadline is February 15, 2012.

Macomb Township Community Foundation ~ 10 $500scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors who reside in Macomb County and plan to attend a two-yr or four-yr college or university. Applications available in the counseling office. Deadline is February 23, 2012.
Buick Achievers Scholarship program ~ 100 Scholarships for up to $25,000/yr, $1,000 scholarships at $2,000/yr, renewable for up to 4 years. Available to students who (1) will be enrolled full time as a freshman at a 4-yr college or university and (2) who plans to study Science, technology, math, business administration, finance, marketing or design and (3) are interested in a career in the automotive industries. Society of Women Engineers – Detroit Section 2012 Scholarship ~
over $3,000 in scholarships are available to exceptional high school senior women who intend to pursue a college degree in engineering. SWE, at a national level, also has scholarships for outstanding high school female students. Applications are available in the counseling office or online at www.swe.org. Complete applications must be postmarked or emailed by 5:00 p.m. March 1, 2012.
Rosa parks Scholarship Foundation ~ Award Amount: $2,000.Available to students who graduate before August 2012, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, describe financial need, and can document community involvement. Applications are available online at rosaparksscholarshipfoundation.org. Deadline is March 1, 2012.
Eastern Michigan University Alumni Association Scholarship: Select children and grandchildren of EMU alumni may qualify for $1250 scholarship. Apply online at emich.edu/alumni.

Rudolph Heino Scholarships offered through Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union ~ 12 $1000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who is a member of Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union. Credit Union ONE William G. Coyne Scholarship Program – To qualify you must be a graduating senior, whose family is a member of Credit Union ONE for a minimum of 6 months, minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed 30 hours of documented, qualified community service during Junior/Senior year. Detroit Economic Club Scholarship Program ~ Award Amount: 2- $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors. Scholarships are renewable for up to three years. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2; demonstrate leadership and character through extracurricular activities, service in school and in the community, volunteer involvement and paid work experience, demonstrated financial need based on completion of the FAFSA, and overcoming hardship to achieve both academic and personal goals. AAA Michigan’s School Safety Patrol Scholarship Program ~ $1000 scholarship. Applicants must be graduating seniors with proof of AAA Michigan School Safety Patrol participation in elementary or middle school, good academic standing and a strong record of involvement in the community and /or extracurricular activities. Available to Michigan high school and college students pursuing education in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Jeptha Wade Schureman Scholarship ~ $7,500 scholarship, to be used at any of the 15 public universities in Michigan, available to children who have lost their father because of death or loss of parental rights before age 18. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate leadership and character through extracurricular activities, service in school and in the community, volunteer involvement and paid work experience, and select a major that leads to a career in law, dentistry, nursing or medicine.
