National Honor Society is a national organization that recognizes scholarship, leadership, character and service in juniors and seniors across the country. The Florence Burk Chapter of the National Honor Society was founded in 1957 by Florence Burk, a teacher at Utica High School. It was her dream to honor students who excelled in the four tenets of the National Honor Society. To be eligible to apply, you must have a 3.45 GPA and be a junior in high school this year.
